Volunteer opportunities
Join us in our vision to keep at least half of Canada’s public land and water wild.
CPAWS NWT is part of a national non-profit conservation organization dedicated to protecting our wilderness. We support the conservation of land, water and wildlife by working cooperatively with NWT communities, organizations and governments.
We are looking for dynamic northerners who share our passion for the wild to serve as volunteers and board members. As a volunteer you can help with:
- Community outreach
- Event planning
- Environmental education
- Fundraising
- Newsletter writing photography or production
As a member of the volunteer Board of Directors you will share your energy and community connections to help our chapter develop and achieve our goals. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with experience in:
- Community outreach
- Finance
- Fund development
