Volunteers Needed for Upcoming Event!
Since 2003, Mountain WIT has combined theatre with interpretation to create family-friendly, entertaining and inspiring plays about the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site. The troupe performs full-length interpretive theatre shows, street theatre, school shows, poolside interpretation, special event roving and community outreach.
On Monday October 25th, 2010, 7:30 pm at the Northern United Place, Mountain WHIT will perform IMAGINaNATION in Yellowknife
IMAGINaNATION - A Mountain World Heritage Interpretive Theatre (Mountain WIT) Production celebrates 125 years of National Parks in Canada.
This is your opportunity to join the fun, enjoy the show and volunteer with CPAWS-NWT as we co-host this event:
We require 15 volunteers for the following:
Poster Distributers (2) - week of Oct 11-15th, strategically place
posters in downtown YK, coffee shops etc.
Event photographer (1) - compile photos for use in CPAWS-NWT
promotional materials ( photo credits are yours)
Merchandise Sales (2) - set up merchandise table and sell CPAWS
merchandise at the event 6:30PM - 9:00 PM
Snack Bar (2) - sell snacks at the event 6:30 - 9:00pm
Snack suppliers (4) - Tea Coffee, Bulk fruit drink, popcorn, cookies,
healthy snack (fruit cups)
Dishes person (1) - Pick up return and wash dishes
CPAWS booth (2) - set up booth, discuss CPAWS, sell memberships. 6:30 - 9:00pm
Theatre group host (1) - depending on scheduling the theatre group might appreciate a tour of YK. Details to follow....
