Kris Brekke, Executive Director

Kris has worked with CPAWS-NWT since 2008, first as the chapter Conservation Coordinator before becoming our Executive Director. Prior to moving to Yellowknife, Kris experienced living remotely in the NWT as a fishing guide on Sahtu (Great Bear Lake) for 10 summers. His education includes a B.Sc. in Biology and Northern Studies. He is most passionate about raising his family in the outdoors (Maddie, James and puppy Chester) with his fantastic wife Lorraine.
