Ways to Help

We couldn’t do what we do without your help. Whether it’s taking action on a campaign by signing a petition or writing a letter, donating to our work, or volunteering your time, your support matters.

Here are the ways you can help:

Take action on a campaign

CPAWS works on Canada’s public lands and waters. 90{763dcb28def876e1c302065d9d30c175c0542fc775c911caa33bb43751f04a6c} of land and freshwater, and 100{763dcb28def876e1c302065d9d30c175c0542fc775c911caa33bb43751f04a6c} of the ocean are in the public domain, meaning they belong to all Canadians and are stewarded by governments on our behalf. By taking action on a campaign, you are asserting your right to have a say about what decisions are made on our public lands and waters.

Your financial support makes our work possible… and we make it go a long way. CPAWS spends over 70{763dcb28def876e1c302065d9d30c175c0542fc775c911caa33bb43751f04a6c} of each dollar on conservation and education. When you make a donation of $20 or more, you will receive the following benefits for one year:

  • A tax receipt
  • Two issues per year of our information-packed national newsletter, Canadian Wilderness
  • CPAWS Annual Report
  • Information from your local CPAWS chapter (the one located closest to your mailing address within your province or territory)

You may opt out of receiving any of these benefits by informing the CPAWS office at 1-800-333-WILD at any time.
